One of the most popular cave in Mani is the ”Alepotrypa cave” (or Cave of Diros)

• It is situated in the Mani peninsula, where is mostly made up of Mesozoic carbonate rocks like limestone.
• We have provided from the stalagmites, information about human activities and climate changes in the past years.
•  The Alepotrypa cave is also one of the largest Neolithic burial sites in Europe.
• In that cave some archaeologists have found bones belonging to at least 170 different persons.
